Departing from Somerset Beach or Punsand Bay at 7:00 AM and returning at 2:00 PM, our CAPE RUNNER vessel offers an exclusive blue-water fishing experience for up to 5 guests, with 3 people fishing at a time.

Target pelagic species such as Queenfish, Trevally, Mackerel, and Tuna or drop a line for reef fish like Sweetlip, Trout and Cod.

Our full-day fishing charters primarily target pelagic species in open blue water, including areas around the Great Barrier Reef, depending on conditions. For guests specifically wanting to focus on barramundi fishing, we’re also able to offer estuary-based barra charters at the same daily rate. Please note that due to vessel setup and fishing style, barra charters are limited to a maximum of 3 anglers per day. The estuary vessel is purpose-built for casting and lure work and does not have shade, so guests should be prepared for full sun exposure on barra-focused days.
